Emma Raducanu revealed watching Andy Murray’s comeback victory at Indian Wells inspired the young star to her own victory, as the Brits enjoyed back-to-back wins in California.and the former world number one played one after the other at centre court at the Indian Wells Masters, with both needing three sets to win their respective ties.
“I definitely looked up to him today [Murray], especially because I was following him,” she told reporters. “I knew he came through some tricky moments and I was thinking of that when I dropped the second set. I was like, ‘You can do the same, just keep pushing’.
