Raffi, known for his children's music like "Baby Beluga" and "Mr. Sun," has been inspired by the uprising of youth to demand action for climate change. The tune, "Young People Marching," honors Sweden’s Greta Thunberg, and samples the teenage climate activist's powerful speech to world leaders at the United Nations Climate Action Summit earlier this week.
"Young people marching/Striking for climate/Millions of millions of young people marching/Marching for our planet/Marching for their lives," the verse belts. "Young people speaking their truth to power/The science is clear, it's late in the hour/For climate action."
