NRL: Paul Crawley has slammed the league for ignoring the Panthers tactics to speed up play.

The four Las Vegas-bound teams will kick off the 2025 Pre-Season Challenge this weekend with two games at Shark Park.The Sharks have resisted playing star recruit Addin Fonua-Blake against his old club on Friday, with Braden Hamlin-Uele to start at front row.

Their opponents meanwhile will unveil several stars for their pre-season opener, including former Panther James Fisher-Harris and 2024 Blues rep Mitch Barnett. As expected, the Panthers will rest a host of stars including Nathan Cleary, Mitch Kenny and Izack Tago among others as they prepare for life without Jarome Luai.
