Both fill-in backs made an impact and earned praise from Rams coach Sean McVay.

As the Rams lined up for their first offensive series on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, no one knew exactly what to expect from the run game.
“I thought I could have done better today, but that’s just knocking off the rust. But it’s only going to get better from here,” Henderson said. “I thought I was going to be sore because I haven’t played ball in a minute, but I actually feel pretty good.” “He’s got obviously a lot of familiarity with what we do here. I was just proud of his ability to step back in and carry the load for us today,” Stafford said. “He was really good in the pass game and in the run game, assignment wise stepped up and picked up a couple pressures there as well.”
The Rams signed Myles Gaskin last week and also have rookie Zach Evans as a running back option. It remains to be seen if either gets an opportunity next week against the Dallas Cowboys.
