Thomas McAllister, 25, passed away in Lisbon while travelling with pals to support the Ibrox football club on Thursday.
Rangers boss Philippe Clement has paid tribute to a young fan who died in Lisbon following the Europa League clash with Benfica.
Taking to X, formally Twitter, the Ibrox gaffer wrote: "My thoughts and condolences go to Thomas’ family and friends." "The immediate thoughts of everyone at the club are with Thomas’ family and friends, and we will remain in constant contact with both the Portuguese and British authorities over this tragic incident."
