The Irishman left the Scottish champions for Leicester City and Ally McCoist believes he could be ready to quit again.
The Hoops boss – fresh from bagging a Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup Double – returned to the club last year to replace Ange Postecoglou after his move to Tottenham for a second stint in the Parkhead hotseat. His first departure was met with fury from the Celtic faithful as he left mid-season to take up the top job at Leicester City.
McCoist told talkSPORT: "There is an element of me that thinks Brendan will want to move on again. I genuinely believe that. Of course he's had a very successful season winning a league and cup double. Goes without saying. And his CV once again is back up there.
