A man has been jailed after raping a "very intoxicated" woman he picked up outside a Melbourne pub in 2017, after he had previously been accused of raping two other women.
Bacash was arrested in 2020 and charged with raping three women in April 2017, January 2018 and February 2018. Earlier this year, a County Court jury found he was guilty of two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, after picking up the "very intoxicated" woman from outside Richmond's Corner Hotel about 3:00am on a Sunday.
In a victim impact statement, the woman said the attack had left her depressed, anxious and unable to feel comfortable to be in romantic relationships.
