The 1960s it-girl and former wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton is opening her doors for a rare auction, with love letters and handwritten Beatles lyrics on offer.
Pattie Boyd, 1960s it-girl and wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton, is selling a trove of rare memorabilia in an upcoming auction.
The auction includes affectionate letters from both Harrison and Clapton, alongside clothing, jewels, drawings and photographs."I've lived with all of these photographs and objects for so long — 40, 50 years," she said.As a muse, Boyd inspired The Beatles' song Something, as well as Clapton's scorching Layla and sweet Wonderful Tonight.
"It's that visceral link with moment that means so much to so many people that makes it so interesting."
