Date published: Monday 20th March 2023 3:20 -Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford is one of three players that has withdrawn from England’s squad for their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Ukraine and Italy.
The 25-year-old fell out of favour under Gareth Southgate during a difficult 2021-22 campaign, but has re-established himself as a crucial player for his country. The former Burnley shot-stopper was set to join up with fellow ‘keepers Aaron Ramsdale and Jordan Pickford, but his place has been taken by Tottenham’s Fraser Forster.
