The documents showed the other staff incurred costs of $16,538 for flights, $12,439 for accommodation, and $9,145 for other, but also included the costs of trips two of the staff took to Dubai. In a statement issued earlier this week, Cr Tate said it was the largest Gold Coast business-trade delegation and provided "the best exposure for our city in the past decade" and sought to make the Gold Coast "the first cab-off-the-rank""The businesses all paid their own way and showcased their products and services to their UK counterparts," he said.
The presentation stated he also attended the Atelier Des Lumiere art gallery in Paris, which featured digital art that Cr Tate has advocated for display at Gold Coast's Home of the Arts [HOTA].He also attended a performance of Come From Away at London's Phoenix Theatre, which later performed at HOTA in July.
"The international trade program and mayoral missions have created connections for the city that have resulted in investment on the ground in our city.
