Andy Farrell and Steve Borthwick were involved in a heated row during Saturday's Six Nations game between England and Ireland.
ITV presenter Mark Pougatch said: "The two coaches having a bit of a disagreement, presumably over some foul play or something. It's nothing OTT, it's nothing over the top, but I do think it underlines that there's a little bit of tension here and it's great there's some jeopardy in the air, which is what we want."
He told ITV: "It is a proper Test match. It hasn't been particularly dirty or any foul play, but obviously Andy Farrell is rattled about something." He said: "Sign of a good team. You know you're not playing your game, you haven't really had that much access into it. It's been a bit of an un-Irish performance. You look at four penalties, just taking advantage of a little bit of indiscipline.
