“The board won’t hesitate to raise the cash rate further if there is a material upward revision to the outlook for inflation,” Ms Bullock told the 2023 Commonwealth Bank Global Markets Conference on Tuesday. “She certainly isn’t ruling out a 13th cash rate hike before Christmas,” Sky News Australia Political Reporter Olivia Caisley said.
The RBA Governor understands the pressures Australian households are facing when it comes to cost-of-living pressures, Ms Caisley reported.
