When the folks at Microsoft offered us the chance to review their latest laptop, the Surface Laptop Go, I must admit I thought they were offering to loan a Surface Go laptop.
laptop that, with this latest model , offers much better performance, and some very business-friendly features such as Microsoft’s “Secured-Core” enterprise-grade security platform, as well as an excellent on-keyboard fingerprint scanner. version of Surface Laptop Go 2, which is worth paying the extra $100 for, just for the scanner alone. The fact the pricier model also has double the storage of the $1199 128 GB version is merely an added bonus.
Couple that with the extremely portable size and weight of this laptop and its 13-hour battery life, and it’s a very decent option as a holiday or weekend-away laptop, or for anyone who’s on the road a lot and doesn’t have heavy-duty compute tasks to perform.
