Thibaut Courtois was first, rupturing his ACL in training. Eder Militao did the same less than a week later, completing only 50 minutes of Madrid's season.
Elsewhere, a new signing has undergone a minor surgery to fix yet another knee issue. But those three are the only significant injuries for a squad that has solid depth across the board.
