Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says there is a “real test” for the federal government to ensure the new jobs and skills summit has “something concrete” come out of it.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has recently announced a date for his jobs summit, which he hopes will kickstart wage growth. “Otherwise, that issue of inflation and higher interest rates sticks around in Australia for longer than what anyone in business, in government or indeed in homes with mortgages is going to want,” Mr Greenwood said.
