Tasmanians on their way to polling booths to cast their vote in Saturday’s election have revealed what issues are front of mind for themselves and their families.

“Health is important, education too. But also, I am a supporter of the stadium and that as well too,” he told reporter Georgia Simpson.Another voter said he felt health and aged care were the main issues of the election.“We are going to be committing ourselves to a long term debt with that thing,” he said.

I’ve just had five days in the LGH and they are a fantastic group working under great difficulty,” she said.“And the idea struck me, I’d have to say, as being fairly mad to have patients shifted into the corridor with the same nurses who are trying to look after new incoming patients looking after those.”
