Rebekah Vardy takes centre stage at Wagatha Christie trial: Reality star takes stand
Coleen's barrister said case rests on 'betrayal' and said the 'only two real suspects' are Rebekah and her agent. If Ms Watt was responsible for leaking the stories 'she was doing Rebekah's dirty work like a hitman', he said.
However, Rebekah's barrister said client was seeking to 'establish her innocence and vindicate her reputation'. He said Rebekah and her family had been 'subjected to abuse and threats' after the scandal broke in 2019. Pair have been at war since 2019 after Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking 'false stories' about private life.
