Business Sydney Executive Director Paul Nicolaou says red tape is “killing Sydney”, effectively putting a hold on potential land and real estate developments.

“Red tape is killing Sydney, that’s the big issue,” Mr Nicolaou told Saturday Morning Herald columnist Steve Price.

“We don’t want to take anything away from Melbourne but again, Sydney is the number one city in Australia and we’re going to make sure we maintain the range.”
