This car seat is suitable for a tiny baby all the way to pre-teen.
Watch the product video from the 39 second mark. The actor swivels the chair easily - note the top tether is not attached - then suddenly it is in the next shot. To swivel the chair you need to UNHOOK IT FROM INSIDE THE BOOT and REHOOK IT WHEN YOU'RE DONE. The seller knows this and has gone to lengths to make sure it isn't obvious to you.
Also, note that none of the product images has the top tether in them; it's been edited out, or the picture has been taken to mask it. The product description says you can swivel the seat to get a child in easily , but the instructions that come with the seat insist that you secure the seat with a seatbelt or with isofix + anchor .
We're sending ours back and getting one with a leg support instead because they can swivel. I'd suggest you do the same.
