The family arrived in Tasmania five months ago.The Nundu family, who arrived in Australia five months ago, are using a program that connects refugees with volunteers in the local community to help them navigate life in their new country.A similar model has been used in Canada for more than 40 years, and, in Australia , the federal government has extended the pilot program until June next year.
