. Its mission is to provide free psychosocial support and resources to cancer patients and their caregivers in the Central Texas area by matching newly-diagnosed patients with a peer survivor of the same cancer or caregivers of cancer patients. Regarding Cancer provides: SUPPORT for emotional and social concerns from diagnosis, treatment, recovery and survivorship, EDUCATION on what to expect with treatment and recovery, HOPE gained through fellowship with others experiencing the same journey, and NAVIGATION to resources for social services, financial services, grief support and child support.
