Both the Riders home\u002Dopener and the Queen City Pride Parade will result in traffic restrictions throughout the day Saturday.
Starting at 2 p.m., there will be no traffic allowed on the 1500, 1600, and 1700 blocks of Elphinstone Street. Access will be limited to Regina Transit buses and local residents only .
“Police are asking motorists and pedestrians to follow directions, have patience and be courteous to other users of the road,” said a news release issued Friday. “Respect the neighbourhood,” the release continues. “Mosaic Stadium is in a residential neighbourhood, and visitors should always ensure they park vehicles legally, refrain from littering, smoke in designated areas, and respect the property of others.”Traffic will also be restricted for the Queen City Pride Parade which will make its way through downtown Regina and may affect vehicle traffic flow on 15th Avenue, Albert Street and Victoria Avenue.
