Ukrainian police said they lost contact with the pair on January 9Andrew Bagshaw, a dual New Zealand-British citizen, and British volunteer Christopher Parry, 28, were killed while attempting to rescue an elderly woman from Soledar.Fellow volunteers expressed their condolences at Kyiv's St Sophia’s Cathedral on Sunday."I remember one of the first times when we went [on an evacuation run] together," volunteer Ignat Ivlev-Yorke, who organised the service, said.
