The Federal Government will today announce a university relief package that 'unashamedly' prioritises domestic students with new courses for the unemployed.
Breaking down the latest news and research to understand how the world is living through an epidemic, this is the ABC's Coronacast podcast."This is unashamedly focused on domestic students. We're going to need our university sector, we're going to need our broader tertiary sector to retrain and reskill Australians to help us emerge from the pandemic even stronger," Mr Tehan said.
"The university sector will still be eligible for JobKeeper but they'll have to meet the normal requirements for every other business," Mr Tehan said. "Because the normal [funeral] rituals are not possible at the moment, it is very important for us — and our mental health — to create new ones."
