Royal visits, school trips and dining out - we did them all and here they are to prove it
If you remember the 1980s then you will probably recall these great views of Nottingham and the surrounding area in those days.
We've opened up our picture archives and pulled out 21 photos of Nottingham in the 1980s. We've got clubbing at MGM and New York New York, great aerial shots of the city, and other people and places you might remember from the era. It also includes a royal visit, a trip to the flea market at Bulwell and various school trips.
Do you remember dining out in Angel Row or at the food court in the Victoria Centre? Our photo of Maid Marian Way will raise a few eyebrows compared to today's traffic. And yes, there is a second royal visit among the collection.
