When we first started, we did pretty much every job and all the business decisions together.
The rule is everyone is expected to sit up at 6.15pm for a weeknight dinner unless they let us know. And there’s a sort of midday catering rule if they’re going to bring a boyfriend or girlfriend.: We finish off the day at home but we never work after dinner. We really try to switch off after dinner.
: If people are working at 100 per cent utilised, you can do that for a couple of weeks, but we’ve got to watch it because they’ll burn themselves out. Zero per cent means no one in the team is using them, which means they’ve been ostracised, and we have to ask ourselves, “What’s going on there?”
