Renowned British artist Martin Amis dies age 73 after losing cancer battle
His wife, Isabel Fonseca said he died of oesophageal cancer at his Lake Worth home on Friday , according to theThe author’s best-selling novels and non-fiction books include Money, London Fields, and his memoir Experience.
In a statement Amis’ publisher Vintage Books paid tribute to him, saying: “We are devastated at the death of our author and friend, Martin Amis: novelist, essayist, memoirist, critic, stylist supreme. The Booker Prize Twitter account described him as “one of the most acclaimed and discussed novelists of the past 50 years” following the news.
