‘FSG will continue to stand by the manager regardless of how the season pans out’ with Liverpool showing faith in the German.
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has noticed a lack of intensity in Liverpool’s play this season but he’s unsure how they can get it back. “I can’t explain it. You have to say, can he get this team going again? Are they responding to him? It doesn’t look like they are responding to him,” Wright told Match of the Day.
“It’s the kind of thing where you’re thinking, can they have a reset this season, write this season off and sort it out in the summer. It seems like at the moment, they’re in limbo.” In Jamie Carragher’s mind there is no doubt Klopp is still the man to lead Liverpool forward in the future.: “There’s a lot of questions that need to be asked and a lot of answers to be found, but at the start of next season I don’t think there’s anyone Liverpool supporters would want in that dugout other than Jurgen Klopp.”
