In a new report, “The Game Has Changed: Full Service or Bust,” Jefferies analysts Daniel Fannon and Gerald O’Hara offer five new trends emerging from the broker wars. They predict:
For firms not in the lead, consolidation will be top of mind. E-Trade is the most attractive target, say Fannon and O’Hara, who emphasize, “[T]he stickiness of its account and deposit base is remarkable.”
