The alarm was raised shortly before 9am with police helicopters and water rescue units called to the River Road area to assist.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.
49am on Monday, February 27 to reports of a person in the water near River Road, Cambuslang.“Upon arrival firefighters worked to assist emergency service partners with the search for a missing person who has now been located as safe and well.”
