BREAKING: The Brisbane Broncos have wasted no time to chase down a new coach after claiming the wooden spoon with favourite son Kevin Walters to get the job.
Bellamy was reportedly offered a five-year, $5 million deal to head to Brisbane in 2022 as the coaching director.“I’ve agreed to nothing anywhere,” Bellamy said when asked more about his future in his press conference.
“Kevvie was one of my assistants for a couple of years. He did a good job with us,” Bellamy told The Courier Mail and NRL.com. “I had my interview this afternoon,” Walters said. ”The breaking news on Craig Bellamy, that is news to me. Craig is obviously a tremendous coach … did they say more about when Craig is actually coming?
It’s been a horrific season for the Broncos with the biggest club in the NRL going through a nightmare season.
