Once again The Associated Press displays its clear and constant political bias in the reporting of the defense spending bill passed by the House of Representatives.
The headline calls it a"partisan bill," which traditionally is considered to be one that passes without any support from the opposing party. However, the article states in one paragraph that"Democrats voted against the package" but in the following says that"four Democrats" sided with the GOP in the final vote.
Every time one single Republican votes on a bll sponsored by Democrats, the Biden Administration touts passage as being"bipartisan." The reasons for this are obvious -- however, per the AP, the opposite is not true. Apparently any bill passed with majority Republican support is considered partisan, whether or not any Democrats voted in favor.And people wonder why there is less and less trust in the media today.
