Absolutely awful news from this morning's incident
A man died in a devastating fire which ripped through two houses in Thornton Cleveleys this morning .
. Emergency services were called to the property at around 9am as the fire quickly took hold with thick smoke billowing into the air and the houses suffering extensive damage.Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service initially sent six fire engines while an air ambulance was despatched and landed on nearby North Drive Park. Lancashire Constabulary has now confirmed that a man died in the fire.
