'It's so bright I feel like I get an X-ray every time I drive past'

Residents have slammed a giant billboard they say is so bright it keeps them awake at night and visible for miles.

"I can't imagine it is very effective advertising when nobody is out," he said. "In the day it's fine, but as soon as it gets dark it's like a second sun. It's very annoying." "If you look directly at it, it hurts your eyes. I live in Trafford and have to drive past it regularly on the way to the gym and it’s a huge distraction."
