Residents in communities on WA's south coast fear their properties may have been lost as two dangerous bushfires rage in Bridgetown, in WA's South West, and Denmark, in the state's Great Southern.There are fears properties may have been lostMore than 200 firefighters are battling the blazes, which have so far razed more than 4,600 hectares of bushland. Close to 3,000 residents in the fire zones remain without power.

A bushfire watch and act alert is in place for parts of Boyup Brook, Benjinuo, Balingup, North Greenbushes, Mayanup, Winnejup, Cattericl, Glenlynn, Yornup, Wandillup, Sunnyside, Hester Brook and Bridgetown. Fire authorities would not confirmed any property losses yesterday, but McLeod Road resident Susan Asher feared her house might be gone."[There was] black massive smoke, a red glow and the noise was awful," she said."We were told they were there until midnight last night. The concern is it might be lost as the power's gone out, there's no water pressure."I think it's gone. I hope it's not.
