'We don't want to be killjoys': Residents' misery after 'excessive' funfair noise stops them using their gardens
Residents claim “excessive noise” from a funfair has made their lives a misery over the Easter period.
Martin Withers, of Cherrywood Avenue, said: “Friends of Anchorsholme Park appear to be doing their best with limited resources to improve the park, and generally residents are supportive of their efforts. However, the fair in the park has been a major upset for residents and risks undoing the goodwill of residents.Blackpool Council confirmed it had received a number of complaints about noise from the fair and officers had spoken to residents.
“So much so that we did not feel able to go out and enjoy our gardens – and could hear the noise indoors.”
