IU football: Tom Allen on 'positive takeaways' from Ohio State loss
Williams has emerged as an increasingly intriguing storyline for IU football. This season has pretty much turned into a continuation of the 2021 nightmare. The Hoosiers are now 3-7 this season, with seven consecutive losses. “ really loves his teammates and then they love him back," Allen said."... Just a genuine, really, really good person that's worked really, really hard. I think they respect the adversity he's overcome, to come back and to stay here, and being a young quarterback that has obviously showed that he has talent.”
“Just the way the community there, the school community he was a part of just raved about him as a person, as a leader, his character,” Allen said. “Just the way he treated people. Obviously, his athleticism on the football field was noticeable at a high level but the character piece, that's what I love about him and really in that position as a quarterback.”
