The picture featured in the Sunday Mail in 2014 was taken in 1971 as the Troubles in Northern Ireland spilled onto the streets of Scotland for the first time. However, the protesters were met with a counter-demonstration from Loyalists, and violence spilled onto the streets, and the lead image was taken that day.
