Who does Rian Johnson think would be a perfect fit for PokerFace and why? 'If I could talk Jamie Lee Curtis into showing up for one of these, I would in a heartbeat. [One of] her first [jobs] was in an episode of Columbo.' 🔎
Poker Face creator Rian Johnson shares why Jamie Lee Curtis would be the perfect guest star in a potential second season. Johnson once again tackles the murder mystery genre with his new series, but where Knives Out and Glass Onion are part of the whodunit style of mystery, Poker Face is "case of the week" focusing on how to catch the killer instead of discovering who they are.
You have so many incredible guest stars on this show. Judith Light, Hong Chau, which is probably my favorite, Jamila Jameel, Tim Meadows. Is there any that stick out to you the most? And is there anybody that you'd like to get for season 2? For season 2, I never want to say names out loud because I never want to jinx some. There's so many different people. If I could talk Jamie Lee Curtis into showing up for one of these, I would in a heartbeat. [One of] her first [jobs] was in an episode of Columbo. Google it. She has a great scene with Peter Falk in the diner, where she plays a waitress.
