It is the second time Glossip has been married in prison after he filed for divorce from his first wife, Leighta Joy Jurasik, who he married in 2018 when she was 21
In a statement provided to the AP, Glossip said:"After all I have been through, losing so much of my life and everyone in it, I have been blessed beyond all imagination."Serial killer Ted Bundy married his fiancee while on death row in Florida, while Erik Menendez and his brother Lyle, who are serving life sentences for murdering their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989, were both married in prison.
Marriage ceremonies for incarcerated people are conducted twice a year in Oklahoma, in March and September. The state does not allow conjugal visits, but Ms Rodger said they were able to hold hands and kiss during the ceremony.Glossip's second marriage behind bars Glossip has been convicted twice and sentenced to death for ordering the killing of Barry Van Treese, who owned the Oklahoma City motel where Glossip worked.Justin Sneed, a motel handyman, admitted robbing and beating Mr Van Treese in January 1997, but said he did so only after Glossip promised to pay him $10,000. Sneed is currently serving a life sentence without parole.
