\nSo it looks like fans will be getting their fill of Dan Harmon & Justin Roiland's Rick and Morty this year – one way or another. While we're still keeping our fingers crossed for Season 7 to drop this fall, Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed during its rollout of its Max streaming service that Rick and Morty: The Anime from Takashi Sano will be hitting our screens sometime this year.
Now here's a look at The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabara, followed by looks at four previously-released shorts:\n\nDirected by Takashi Sano, produced by Sola Entertainment, and animated at Telecom Animation Film, the anime short Rick and Morty vs. Genocider finds Morty going on an adventure to Tokyo, Japan, to try and help stop 'The Genocider.
