Environment Agency North West has issued the warning around the high tide expected on the River Ribble around 1am on Sunday.
Areas at risk include Freckleton Marsh, Riversway Docklands, Lower
, Hutton Marsh, Longton Marsh, Becconsall Marsh, Much Hoole Marsh, Bretherton Eyes, Croston Finney, Hesketh Out Marsh and Hundred End.A statement from the Environment Agency says: “Please be careful along riverside footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.”
