A number of roads across Nottinghamshire will be closed
for the Outlaw Triathlon later this month. On Sunday, July 30, hundreds of people will be taking part in one of the UK's toughest challenges, involving a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run, all within a 17 hour time limit.
The road closures include the prohibition of driving on Market Place, Southwell from its junctions with A612 Church Street to its junction with Queen Street from 7am to 2pm, except pedal cycles and vehicles in connection with the event.
One way restrictions will also be in place from 7am to 2pm on Market Place, Southwell – From where it meets Westgate to its junction with Church Street. One way restrictions will also be in place on the day on Ton Lane, Lowdham, Hawton Lane, Hawton, Hawsworth Road, Scarrington and Adbolton Lane, Holme Pierrepont.
