A motorist steered his car head-on at another motor in a fit of road rage after the other driver carried out a u-turn.

was told last week how two police officers on patrol spotted the car being driven by Jooyandeh.Jooyandeh accelerated, depute fiscal Brogan Moffat told the court, in order to close the gap between the two vehicles.The incident happened around 11.50am on November 9, 2020.

The court heard he is already serving a prison sentence for another charge and is due for release on October 11.The sheriff said:"Bring him back just before he gets out and that will leave other sentencing options open to me."
