Rob Burrow 's last message to the world was filled with hope and resilience, he said "we must still dare to dream".
Finishing his final amount of life wisdom, Burrow said "Rob Burrow, over and out". Throughout his journey with MND, Burrow became an advocate for the disease, raising funds and increasing awareness. His aim was to have successfully "left a mark on the disease".His last words were played in a documentary titled There's Only One Rob Burrow aired on BBC One and iPlayer, in which Burrow expressed: "I hope one day we find a cure and live in a world free of MND.
His ultimate message emphasises bravery in face of difficulties. He urged: "My final message to you is whatever your personal battle be brave and face it."Burrow reminded us that "In a world full of adversity we must still dare to dream."In a heartfelt statement on Monday, Lindsey Burrow paid homage to her husband, describing him as "loving, kind and caring" and promised to continue his legacy.
Despite the sombre mood, the Rob Burrow Centre for MND at Seacroft Hospital in Leeds saw its groundbreaking ceremony proceed as per Burrow's wishes, with his family affirming that he "would be looking down and smiling".
