SUNDAY MAIL EXCLUSIVE: A man who rose through the ranks of Scotland's most prestigious Burns clubs has now been referred to police over a fresh concern for children.
A convicted paedophile who changed his name and lied his way to the top of Robert Burns World Federation is facing a police probe over concerns about children.
The Sunday Mail unmasked him last month as Douglas Stuart Hammond, 67, convicted of abusing two boys aged eight and 10 in 1991 while playing “wrestling games”. I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t report my concerns. I believe that paedophiles never change and will always try to find ways to exploit children.”
