With Mane now gone, Salah faltering before hitting a hat-trick against Rangers, Darwin Nunez not quite in his stride Luis Diaz out injured and Diogo Jota only just returning from time on the sidelines, Firmino has stepped up.Those eight goals he has scored is just three from his total for the whole of last season and he is on track to beat his previous best tally of 27 in the 2017/18 season.
