Andy Robertson is one of several Liverpool players who will be competing at Euro 2024
Andy Robertson has revealed former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reached out to him ahead of the Euro 2024 opener involving Scotland and Germany on Friday evening.
Robertson set a new Scotland record last week during a 2-2 draw with Finland by captaining the Tartan Army for a 49th time, more than any player, and was soon after congratulated by the ex-Liverpool boss.READ MORE: Michael Olise 'contact made' in transfer pursuit as Liverpool flop could have contract terminated
Germany versus Scotland will be staged at the Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich, a stadium that brings back fond memories for Robertson having experienced a Champions League round of 16 second-leg win there en route to securing a sixth European Cup for Liverpool in 2019.
