The problems are stacking up for Philippe Clement during the international break.
Winger Ross McCausland has become the latest injury doubt for Rangers with Michael O'Neill admitting he is likely to miss Northern Ireland's clash with Scotland.
The 20-year-old has burst onto the scene under under Philippe Clement but has been struggling with injury in recent weeks. He's been used sparingly amid fitness issues with a one minute cameo in the Europa League clash with Benfica in Lisbon before making a cameo off the bench against Hibs - but he was still called up by O'Neill for the double header with Romania and Steve Clarke's side.
After missing the friendly clash in Bucharest, the Northern Ireland boss has ruled the attacker out of an appearance at Hampden on Tuesday adding to the mounting injury concerns for the Belgian boss. Discussing McCausland's fitness before the game, he said: "Unfortunately, it looks like Ross McCausland won't make it. It would have been nice to get Ross the opportunity."
It gives Rangers another injury concern when the league restarts against Hibs - with a crucial top of the table clash with Celtic set to follow just a week later. Ridvan Yilmaz is a doubt and is being evaluated by the Turkey medial team after limping off in the defeat to Hungary. The injury list continues to grow for Clement for the Scottish Premiership title run-in. He is already without Abdallah Sima, Oscar Cortes, Ryan Jack, Kieran Dowell and Danilo at this stage of the campaign.
