The Saskatchewan Roughriders are ready to welcome Garrett Marino back after he serves his four\u002Dgame suspension.
Marino is to begin his suspension Saturday when the Riders and Toronto Argonauts meet in Wolfville, N.S., in the Touchdown Atlantic game. The second-year defensive tackle is eligible to return on Aug. 19 when the B.C. Lions are to play the Riders at Mosaic Stadium.story has drawn nation-wide attention but, even so, Reynolds has not yet been available for comment. The players, however, have addressed the issue repeatedly over the past week.
“There isn’t anything that has changed about that. We’re not going to look at him differently because that’s our teammate. That’s our brother and that’s what it’s going to be.” He was slapped with a two-game suspension for an illegal hit on quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, a one-game suspension for a verbal comment regarding Masoli’s heritage, and one-game suspension for an illegal hit on offensive lineman Dino Boyd.
